Cupping uses gentle negative pressure to lift the skin and superficial tissues, creating a light pulling sensation during treatment.

It is commonly used as an adjunct to remedial massage and may be included to support relaxation and ease of movement within a session. Cupping is often combined with soft-tissue techniques, stretching, and simple activation exercises as part of a comfort-focused approach.

Our Approach & Types

  • Static Cups: Maintain cups on key points for several minutes.

  • Gliding / Moving Cups: Gently slide the cups over skin with an applied medium.

  • Pressure Control: Use adjustable vacuum cups; prioritize comfort and avoid over-stimulation.

  • Clean & Safe: Use disinfectable cups, perform skin antisepsis, and follow strict hygiene protocols.

Common Reasons People Choose Cupping

  • Neck/shoulder/back stiffness from prolonged desk work

  • Thigh and calf tightness or soreness after training/competition

  • Heaviness from fascial tightness across the mid-back and scapular region

  • Running-related tightness in the IT band, quadriceps, or hamstrings

  • Post-session stretching and activation to support ease of movement following sessions

  • Note: Cupping is an adjunct relaxation technique, not a standalone medical diagnosis or treatment. Suitability will be confirmed after a brief assessment.

What to Expect ?

  1. Brief assessment & consent

  2. Skin check & cleaning

  3. Cupping (3–10 mins per area, pressure adjusted to comfort)

  4. Soft-tissue work + stretch

  5. Simple home tips (hydration, light mobility)

Safety & Contraindications

We avoid cupping over broken skin, infections, active rashes, varicose veins, recent deep vein thrombosis, acute fractures, or areas with impaired sensation/circulation. Not recommended during pregnancy over the abdomen/low back. Temporary cup marks (non-painful) may appear and fade within days. Tell us your medical history and medications (e.g., anticoagulants).
